A White House spokesman stated that President Trump's stock and bond portfolio is managed by third-party financial institutions using automated models. The spokesman asserted that neither the President nor his family can direct or influence investment decisions.
“In a statement, White House spokesman David Siegel told us that President Trump's stock and bond portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions that use automated computer models.”
“And he added, quote, neither President Trump nor any member of his family has any ability to direct, influence or provide input regarding how the portfolio is invested or when investments are bought or sold.”
