The Trump administration, through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, has canceled health insurance for approximately 760,000 individuals enrolled in Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act. Reasons cited include ineligibility for subsidies, access to employer-provided healthcare, or incomplete/improper application information. This comes as ACA enrollment has already declined, raising concerns about the marketplace's stability.
“That is the number of individuals whose Obamacare/Affordable Care Act health insurance has been canceled because their enrollment was allegedly fraudulent or improper.”
“So Vice President JD Vance announced this move this week along with Dr. Mehmet Oz who oversees the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.”
