A 9-foot-tall bronze statue of Harriet Tubman was recently installed on Michigan Street in Buffalo, New York. The statue, depicting Tubman guiding a child, was brought to the location by a group called the Freedom Walkers and placed near a church that served as a final station of the Underground Railroad. The installation was honored by approximately 200 people.
