The South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix has seen its stock value increase sevenfold over the past year, driven by the AI data center boom. The company is set to list on the Nasdaq this week, with a $28 billion offering that is one of the largest ever before adjusting for inflation. SK Hynix is a major producer of memory chips (RAM and DRAM) crucial for AI hardware.
