“They're the future. They're the future. It will take a long time for this future to come. It will be very unevenly distributed, but they are the future.”
“So that's the shift that we're right in the early early early days of it will be another platform shift. But we're in a very fortunate position. And here's why. You know, we have millions of riders, We have millions of billions, billions of data points about pickup and drop off location and pricing and so forth and so on, and we have a whole subsidiary called flex Drive that does fleet management, which I can come back to in a couple of seconds.”
“But the economics of an expensive car don't really lend themselves to having a whole bunch of them sitting around at two in the morning empty. You really, I think, want a hybrid network for a long long time for human reasons too, right, You might want someone to help you with your luggage, or maybe even someone to ask you how your day was.”
