After leaving her consulting job, Sunny Stroeer was inspired by an article about Alex Honnold's van life and decided to adopt a similar lifestyle. She purchased a used Chevy Astro van for $2,800 and began converting it, marking the start of her adventures on the road.
“I had read an article about Alex Honnold, and in that article, I saw a photo of his van.”
“And I think that was the first time that I ever had any concept or idea of the fact that there's such a thing as van life and people actually go and live on the road and just pursue adventure, right?”
