Mike Cannon-Brookes, CEO of Atlassian, acknowledged that the company underwent layoffs earlier in the year, citing a need for a different mix of skills. He suggested that AI is influencing the required skill sets within the software industry and for running a software company.
“Of course, AI has also changed Atlassian. Like so many other tech companies, Atlassian did a round of layoffs earlier this year, with Mike saying that he felt the company needed a different mix of skills.”
