Amazon is exploring ways to extend Alexa's capabilities and presence beyond the traditional home environment. Daniel Rausch indicated that future developments will focus on experiences where customers want to use Alexa 'outside the home.' This includes continuing development on existing products like Alexa Buds and frames, and exploring new ambient personal technology solutions.
“Well, I think, you know, we're going to keep adding capabilities. And I think you'll see us, you know, continue to work on experiences where customers want to take Alexa outside the home.”
“So, you know, we've had Alexa Buds, uh, I'm actually listening to you through some now. Uh, we have, uh, frames that we've worked on for some time that allow you to have an Alexa experience, you know, in your sunglasses or your prescription glasses for some time.”
“Um, we've worked with a company that we brought in house recently called V uh, that sort of an ambient personal technology. Helps you keep track of things, uh, sort of a, a brain outside your head so you don't miss any details.”
