Greg's score in the Wild Card Challenge has been reduced by two points following his own request and review by the organizers. Points were deducted for his 'luxury flights' and 'wallet friendliness' scores, making his new total 102 points, tying him for first place.
“So, Greg did lose a couple of points. Um, so let me get up his one. We dropped his luxury, um, flights from an eight to a seven, um, because he had booked it, um, that had increased his chances of encountering a regular operations.”
“We also dropped his wallet friendliness from a seven to a six as well, because in hindsight, like him booking, um, his award for 35,000 miles, it wasn't a bad redemption, but it didn't justify a seven.”
“Um, I feel really good. I, I, I think I said at the time that, um, it was very generous, what what I was scored for flights. And, um, so I think this is a better, you know, more realistic, uh, score. So, good, good job with that.”
