YouTube is rolling out new AI-powered tools to help creators optimize their content. These include AI-suggested edits for video drafts, thumbnail suggestions, dynamic thumbnails that adapt to audience preferences, and the ability to A/B test video variations.
“Uh, one of them is drafts, where you upload a draft on YouTube, a creator can now upload a draft on YouTube and get feedback, and suggested edits, that's coming in from YouTube's AI.”
“When you do, uh, YouTube will also suggest thumbnails. Uh, and it will give you feedback. Hey, you know, your thumbnail might do better if you, you know, maybe put two faces in or look more like, you know, Mr. Beast when he's like, you know, into the camera.”
“There's also going to be dynamic thumbnails. This is all new. Uh, which are going to be optimized, uh, based on the audience.”
“You could also, this is a crazy one. You can AB test videos, which is that creators can then can now put up like a couple of videos and maybe one with like a trailer, one without a trailer, and see what does better, see what gets more watch time and is, uh, enhanced by the algorithm.”
