Meta has launched new VR glasses that are significantly lighter than traditional headsets, weighing only 100 grams. These glasses aim to provide a more approachable VR experience by separating the display and sensors worn on the face from a computing puck containing the main processing power and battery. The device is priced at $1,299.99 and is scheduled to ship in spring 2027.
