Meta has unveiled new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, including an audio-only version and updated camera-equipped models with improved features. The new 'Gen 3' models boast new styles, adjustable temple tips, six microphones for better call quality, and an additional hour of battery life compared to the previous generation. They also feature 'Luau,' a spatial audio capture technology.
“Meta announced a boatload of new glasses last night. There's new Ray-Ban Meta's including an audio-only version. And some new VR glasses.”
“The muse agent is coming to these glasses. All these new glasses that are releasing.”
“Different styles. Uh, adjustable temple tips. So that's something that they took from the optics glasses, which were meant to be more ergonomic and more prescription friendly.”
“And they last longer, one hour longer than the Gen 2s. So not a huge crazy hardware update on this front.”
“It's like spatial audio capture. So you can record audio that sounds like it's coming from all around you.”
