A couple who moved to Seneca Falls, New York, received a generous gift from their new neighbors: a pair of vintage cocktail glasses that perfectly matched a crystal whiskey decanter they had purchased. The glasses, each worth a couple hundred dollars, were found among belongings left in the neighbors' home, and were gifted to the couple as they "belonged together."
“While showing off this particular purchase to our new friends, one of them said, I think that I have glasses that match that.”
“The next time they visited, our new friends brought two gorgeous cocktail glasses and sure enough, they were a perfect match to my husband's decanter.”
“Our friends insisted that we take them as a gift, saying they belonged together.”
“Later while exploring some more on eBay, we discovered the true value of this gift. Each vintage glass was worth a couple hundred dollars.”
