Keith McCullough believes the Federal Reserve will raise rates, possibly multiple times, as they are "raising rates into a Quad 2 data, but it's also peak data." He forecasts this will put the Fed in a difficult position heading into 2027, as they will have "hiked into a pending slowdown."
“So, yes, I think the Fed's going to raise rates. They're going to raise them too many times as they always do at the end of a cycle. Again, I'm looking for this quarter being the peak of its cycle. So they're raising rates into a Quad 2 data, but it's also peak data. So, you know, then they're going to be now in in a heck of a spot going into 2027 because they will have hiked into a pending slowdown.”
