Eric Jackson expressed an optimistic outlook on the current financial markets, comparing the current level of speculation to a 3 out of 10, significantly lower than the dot-com era's 10 out of 10. He believes there is no immediate market calamity on the horizon.
“Well, I think it, I think, um, I tend to be an optimist, Adam. So I, um, I'm not, the most common question I get from, I guess, uh, novice investors who start following me, uh, and hear me opining about SpaceX or other stocks. Uh, the most, kind of the first question that I get more than any other is, um, oh, uh, the markets, I keep hearing the markets are at all-time highs. And so I'm just going to wait for the next pullback before I get in.”
“But uh, that's, you know, I tend to be more optimistic than pessimistic. And so, um, I tend to say that to those investors, and I and I tend to believe right now about the markets that, uh, I don't, I don't see any calamity around the corner.”
“I find the level of, um, uh, speculation to be probably like, uh, three out of 10 compared to that time where it was, I think it was more like a 10 out of 10.”
