A user discovered a notable price discrepancy between the Capital One travel app and its desktop website for hotel bookings. In at least one instance, two out of three room types were found to be 21% cheaper on the mobile app.
“I noticed a difference, a pretty sizable difference in the rate through the Capital One travel app on my phone versus the desktop version of the site for the same hotel, same rooms.”
“I looked at a specific place with three different room types, and two of them were 21% cheaper in the app than they were on the desktop version of the site.”
