While using the Instinct AI agent for apartment hunting, a user experienced the agent exposing their phone number and personal email address to numerous agencies. This resulted in a significant increase in spam and raised privacy concerns.
“It also exposed my phone number and my personal email address.”
“Immediately was like, I went ahead and reached out on your behalf and used your full name and used your phone number and used your email address to all of these agencies. So the amount of additional spam it gave me right out of the gate was infuriating, right?”
“And this is the tradeoff of, I want all capable assistant that can go out there and be agentic and do things for me and buy things and inter-passwords and do all that. But I want it to be smart enough not to expose anything that it doesn't have to expose.”
