Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stressed that current successes in Ukraine should not lead to reduced support but rather an escalation of efforts to pressure Russia. He highlighted the importance of long-term commitment, citing a €90 billion loan package, and the need for more air defense systems for Ukraine.
“Yeah, honestly, to step up, because what we are doing other basically the right things, supporting Ukraine and pressurizing Russia.”
“And we should not. Take these the latest success for Ukraine as a reason to decrease our support. Quite the opposite, you know, to make it super clear for Russia that time is not on their side.”
