First Phosphate successfully listed on the Nasdaq as an ADR without the need for a sponsor or traditional investment bank involvement. The company raised over $50 million, including a $17 million raise in Canada and a $21 million contribution from the federal government, demonstrating a unique and effective listing strategy.
“We had to self reflect. We had to measure five times and cut once, as I say.”
“So we basically raised the capital, um, in Canada, uh, on the Canadian stock exchange. We raised an additional 17 million. Uh, we had a, I think about, uh, close to 30 million, um, as we were listing onto Nasdaq.”
“So there's access to over 50 million, 50 million dollars of capital, listing onto Nasdaq. We were able to do that on our own without a sponsor, without a capital raise.”
