“Yes, so, well, first of all, it's a stay paycheck. That's one thing that is really good, especially when you're eighteen years old. I joined when I was nineteen, and that was huge. I was able to you know, pay off some credit card debt I had and save money, so that is wonderful.”
“You also have medical benefits, so I was always taken care of when I was sick. I had one time had a pneumonia in every part of my body or every part of my lungs, and you know, all that was taking care of for me.”
“But then also the education benefits. I joined at nineteen. I earned a steady paycheck, but I also earned a free education or I had the old GI bill, and so it doesn't I didn't pay as much as the post nine eleven GI bill, but that still made it so I could get out of college without paying anything.”
