This means services like Gemini, Gmail, and YouTube rely on the same core infrastructure, including Spanner and Bigtable.
“I lead transactional databases for Google Cloud. But I have a second job. I also lead operational databases for all of Alphabet. And so whether it's Gemini or Gmail or YouTube, all of these run on that same database infrastructure on the same set of systems, Spaner and Bigtable.”
