A planned Hyatt Regency hotel in Adelaide, which was slated to open in 2023, has been canceled. The project was reportedly scrapped in late 2024, leaving fewer high-end hotel options in the area for points and miles travelers.
“It's funny you mention Hyatt Regency because there was supposed to be a Hyatt Regency that was supposed to open back in 2023 and, um, I didn't get too much details and all the drama about it.”
“But, um, the project got scrapped in late 2024.”
“So they're not getting a Hyatt Regency unfortunately.”
