Peng Zheng described using Gkbot to build a personal website that automatically updates with locations he visits. He shared how he turned a photo of a grocery store into a 3D miniature for his site's homepage, and how the bot can process images and location data to create check-ins.
“And later that day, when I went back home, uh, I finally redo my personal website. I've procrastinated for for an year. And I took that 3D grocery store and then I put it onto the homepage.”
“So now, when I hang out with a friend, I can literally send a screenshot of the place and send it to my friend's social profile. And Gkbot will take over the rest. So I have this checking bot that's supposed to, uh, I specifically build for this workflow. It figures everything out. It turns it into a data structure that my website expects.”
“I was able to just screenshot in Figma these two separate artboards of work that was already in progress. And doing so, I just pointed to those, had the bot do its work. I didn't even read most of this stuff. It produced three outputs, copy, paste it what Ben had sent me on Slack and said, think we got all these covered while I'm on this call. Work is getting done.”
