Jeff Christian anticipates a short-term increase in oil prices, followed by a longer-term trend of sideways to lower pressure. He believes $86 a barrel is near a market-clearing price, but a significant slowdown in the global economy could push prices down to the $70-$75 range within the next 6 to 12 months.
“I think that, uh, we're going to see some upside pressure in the short term. And then, uh, longer term, sideways to lower pressure.”
