Matthew Piepenburg suggests that significant generational wealth can be made in the right mining companies, despite historical low sentiment in the sector. He notes that many mining companies were undervalued, offering good free cash flow and low production costs relative to the gold spot price.
“I mean, this is generational wealth will be made in the right mining sector and the right mining names and the right mining plays.”
“I was recently at the rule symposium in Florida earlier in the summer and the sentiment in mining, as many had said, had never been lower. And yet these same companies were getting the same free cash flow during the highs. And their, you know, positive geological surveys and the same upside and the same low cost of production compared to the spot price of gold, but these miners were on sale for 40% off.”
