Iconic model Twiggy discusses her new biographical documentary, which chronicles her rapid ascent in the fashion world and her subsequent shift to acting and singing. She shares the mixed emotions she experienced watching her life unfold on screen, particularly seeing footage of her late parents and her daughter as a child.
“I'm so excited to be talking to you today from my Monday morning. Um, and congratulations on this documentary, which is so fantastic.”
“Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it. Um, it it's purely a sensation for me because it's my life, and to see your life up on the big screen is, um, mixed emotions, as you can imagine.”
“Oh my goodness. Uh, well, the first time I saw a first cut. I think I cried through most of it because, you know, there's footage of my mom and dad who obviously are no longer with us. There's footage of my daughter, Kylie, as a little girl, and now she's a grown woman with children of her own and, um, I mean, we're very close still. But, just to see how that young, and then, you know, the sad parts of my life or all in it, as well as the funny and the nice parts. So, it was very mixed emotions.”
