Dolly Parton expressed a sense of regret about locking away her final song in her "Dream Box," a time capsule intended for her 100th birthday in 2046. In her memoir, 'Songteller,' she stated that it was 'burning' her up inside to leave the song sealed away.
“Funnily enough, according to Dolly herself, there's a little bit of regret there about locking it away.”
“In her memoir song teller, she says, it's just burning me up inside that I have to leave it in there.”
“She also goes on to say that if she lives to be 100, she will be at the opening of that box.”
