Mike McGlone admits he was wrong in predicting the US could suppress Iran's offensive capabilities, noting they have shown significant strength. This underestimation contributes to the uncertainty surrounding crude oil prices, which he views as being in a precarious position.
“The main thing I've been getting wrong. And focus on what that means. Number one, I did not think at this point with this Iran, we've all kind of expected it that the US would not be able to completely suppress the offensive capabilities of Iran. Wrong. So far, they have been showing pretty significant offensive capabilities. So that's a big check mark. I didn't not expect that to happen.”
“And so I look at crude oil now as bit of them dare in headlights. Is this going to go much higher? If it does, it breaks stuff.”
