Chris Broad discusses the challenges of maintaining old technology, specifically 1970s and 80s electronics, in his studio. He recounts an incident where Pete accidentally broke three televisions by "pulling some cables" after being let into the old studio.
“That's the thing with like old sort of 70s, 80s tech. Um, it's lovely to look at, you know, takes you back to a more innocent time. But, uh, it's very hard to get working in 2023.”
“Well, I mean, there's one, two, three, four, there's six TVs over there. Only three of them work. And one of them, American Pete broke, uh, like two years ago when I first opened the studio. I let Pete in, right? Which you should never do. He was like, oh my god, a Snare! And he went into the electronics store and he pulled some cables and then three of the TVs just never came back on. So I'm not letting him in this studio. He's not coming in.”
