Responding to reports of potential price cuts for upcoming models, Greg Brockman stated that OpenAI's historical approach has been to increase intelligence while decreasing the price for a given level of capability. He anticipates that what is considered 'frontier intelligence' today will become more mundane and accessible in the future.

“And so I think frontier intelligence will always be something that is going to be the priciest thing. But I think that a year from now, that level of intelligence that has been deemed very premier, it's going to feel pretty mundane.”
