Peter McCree noted that the diffusion of AI technology is occurring at a significantly accelerated pace compared to historical technological advancements. He stated that the current rate of adoption on their platform is estimated to be five to ten times faster than the diffusion of other technologies observed in the past.
“Historically, that pattern of diffusion takes 30 to 50 years to play out. Some of the evidence on our platform is that this is happening at maybe five to 10 times faster rate than the diffusion of other technologies in the past.”
