During Scott Galloway's co-hosting stint, he discussed a conversation with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. When asked about the qualities she'd seek in a presidential candidate, Clinton prioritized the ability to win the electoral college over traditional attributes like empathy or geopolitical understanding. Galloway found this response insightful and pragmatic.
“My favorite is Secretary Clinton and the insight she had that really struck me was when you asked her what the qualities you would want to see in the next president. I was waiting for empathy, geopolitical understanding. And she said, whoever can win the electoral college.”
“Yeah, she's she's grass tax that later. And that's who I am. I'm like, let this incredible process called the primary run. And not only find the right person but the right person for the moment. But I thought that was actually quite simple and quite insightful.”
