According to Chris Hutchins, the median value of Hyatt points is generally agreed upon to be between 1.5 and 1.7 cents per point. He further notes that in the 75th to 90th percentile, this value can increase to between 2 and 2.7 cents per point.
“And so at a high level, you know, if you look at the median value of Hyatt points, I think almost everyone on the internet kind of agrees in the somewhere between 1.5 and 1.6, 1.7 range.”
“That's median. If you go up to the 75th or 90th percentile, that's two, 2.7 cents.”
