Experts advise parents traveling to Italy with babies to prioritize a good baby carrier due to cobblestones and limited changing tables. They also suggest considering strollers with larger wheels over compact 'yo-yo' style ones, and to be prepared for creative diaper changes.
“I would say my number one is get comfortable with the baby carrier. So that is just so easy. In sometimes music and some places you can't always take your pram and you might need to leave it in like the cloakroom or something like that, and then you're kind of left just holding the baby.”
“So what we would do was just easier. When we had the bassinette part of our prem we would line it with the towel and we would change her NAPPI is in that it was just much easier because yeah, a lot of places don't have change tables.”
“So if you're coming from the airport, I think you might want to look into booking a private driver because then you can with someone like Welcome Pickups, you can pre arrange to have the baby car seat or the toddler car seat in the car.”
