Larry Rosenblum offers advice for planning an extended stay in Paris, emphasizing early research, booking accommodations and flights, and using a spreadsheet for itinerary organization. He also recommends the Navigo Easy card for metro travel and advocates for leaving passports at the hotel for safety.
“Okay, so I did a lot of research. So this was September and part of October of last year. I started out literally in the beginning of the year when I made my hotel reservation in January or February, and booked my flight.”
“So I bought a monthly pass, which is a real bargain because it's basically, it costs you 90 euros. So that's about one ride a day, and you easily use that. That amount.”
“So that was fine for those cases, like, you know, somehow for audio guides in a museum, they often like an ID like a passport, but everybody took the paper copy without any hesitation. So leaving the passport in the hotel is safer.”
