Kaitlyn Collins shared how Dolly Parton was a significant part of her childhood in Alabama, with family vacations often including trips to Dollywood. She recalled how the park felt like a 'Disney World for us before we went to Disney World' and how seeing Dolly's childhood home replica was a core memory.
“And I mean, but Dolly was a huge part of my childhood because this is what we did in the South for vacation. We drove down to the beach, or we drove north to Tennessee. Those are our two spots that we went pretty much every year.”
“And we would go to Dollywood and we thought it was, I mean, it was Disney World for us before we went to Disney World. And we'd go there, you could see Dolly's childhood home, the replica of it. And it was just, it's a core memory for me as a child.”
