Larry Rosenblum recounts his experience with Viality Tour's virtual reality (VR) offering that traces the history of the Louvre. He describes wearing VR glasses that transport users to different historical periods within the Louvre's grounds, from its origins as a fort in 1180 to its development as a palace and museum.
“So that's a small company, a husband and wife company called Viality Tour.”
“So first we just got a chance to put them on and get used to them and so on and so forth. And then she started the tour, which in this case put us in the same location, but in the year, I believe, 1180.”
“So we saw the whole development of the Louvre until the present.”
