John-Clark Levin suggests that once AGI is achieved, it could automate a vast array of white-collar tasks, including coding, design, and writing, performing them more cheaply and often better than humans. This automation extends to any task performed by a remote worker that doesn't rely on human trust or relationships.
“Any task that can be performed by a human remote worker that does not rely on human trust and relationships can be automated right away. So at that point, if there is functional white collar piece work that you need to hire someone for, whether that is coding work, or design, or writing, that's something that AGI could perform not only more cheaply, but in most cases better than humans.”
