I think the other thing I would recommend is to consider going above and beyond just getting the match from your employer in the retirement account. So this could, yeah, reduce current taxation. It can build up more money for your future. If you don't have a mortgage payment, at least put part of that into investing for your long-term future. I think that's a smart move.
