“I wanted to report back because we flew that recently and I wanted to report back on a couple of things that I forgot to put in the post as I was writing it, but I thought would be potentially relevant. First of all, the checked baggage allowance did carry over. So, even though we flew economy class on the second leg, from Frankfurt to Milan, the baggage allowance from the business class flight across the Atlantic on Luft Hansa carried over onto Air Dolomiti. Luft Hansa was able to check our bags all the way through.”
“And then a third piece that came to mind after I published the post was that I did not use the Luft Hansa lounge in Frankfurt because what I read was that the departing cabin is what matters for lounge access for Luft Hansa lounges, because we were departing in economy. I'm not sure if that's true. I didn't test that and try it.”
