Steve Eisman highlighted OpenAI's recent financial performance, noting that while its revenue increased, its costs grew at a significantly faster rate. He pointed out that OpenAI's revenue was up a billion dollars sequentially, but its costs increased by $3 billion in the same period.
“Open AI, which I like I said is the problem child, had around 6 and a half billion in revenue and it was up only 18% versus the March quarter.”
“Worse, its costs went to 12 and a half billion up 3 billion in three months.”
“So simple math, um, Open AI's revenue in three months was up a billion dollars sequentially, and its costs were up 3 billion sequentially.”
