Amol Jain of Relace highlights that the key to successful AI-driven businesses lies in leveraging unique expertise, judgment, or existing distribution channels, rather than just generic software. He notes that as the cost of code approaches zero, users are willing to pay for this added value and 'done-for-you' services.
“And users pay for that. And so, you know, for example, in the past, when I was a founder, I, I, I relied on on my network. I relied on on on customers that I knew. And now with these types of platforms, you know, you can actually reach a much wider audience. And so, and so it's really about combining that.”
“The the thing that's at the overall pie of businesses that still expanding. If you look at Stripe data, you can see the number of businesses being created going up. Uh, it's because it's it's that unique advantage that people have.”
“So, so, you know, you mentioned that with the cost of code goes to zero, right? What do you pay for? It's this unique expertise that they had. It's the unique judgment or taste. It's the security, it's the distribution. It's all of that extra packaging that meets the user where they are. And users pay for that.”
