“So, I have a 7-day itinerary planned. Just a couple of logistical things about this itinerary. I think you can definitely spend a week here in Detroit, really dive into the city, understand it and be busy every single day.”
“As I mentioned, Detroit is a heavily auto-focused city, so you are going to need a car for the majority of this itinerary. I do have a little bit of it where you can use public transportation. There is a free tram bus called the Q line that runs up and down Woodward Avenue.”
“So, Day 2 is diving into Midtown. Midtown is a university district of the city and it's also where the museums are located.”
“So, Day 3, I have you exploring the Eastern Market. The Eastern Market is one of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States. It's a huge space. It's a historic district. It's also a landmark.”
“So, Day 5, I have you heading west to explore Dearborn. Dearborn is a suburb of Detroit. It's also a city that has a lot of Middle Eastern culture there. And it's also home to the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. This is a must-see.”
