Nvidia has announced its acquisition of the AI repository platform Hugging Face for nearly $13 billion. The company stated that Hugging Face will remain an open platform for its entire ecosystem, with no requirement for Nvidia Compute to build or deploy through the platform. This acquisition comes after Hugging Face previously rejected a $500 million investment from Nvidia last year.
