The Torrente River in Italy is described as one of Europe's cleanest, with crystal-clear waters. However, its story ends tragically as it flows into an industrial site near Pescara, a former producer of arsenic and chemical weapons, which was later declared Europe's largest illegal toxic dumping ground.
