A new key has been added to the Magic Keyboard, located next to the delete key, which appears to function as a context menu key. While its exact purpose is debated, it's suggested to be for keyboard-based navigation or context menu access, though it can be accidentally triggered.
“So now if I'm in mail, it's right clicking on first responder. So you don't have to hit control click anymore. You can just hit the key next to delete. But why?”
“I think this is for just navigating from the keyboard. I guess? To bring up a context menu? I guess.”
“But I might just disable that key on the keyboard if I had a key like this because the key next to delete key often gets hit accidentally and I don't want a popping up a context menu.”
