Daniel Blum emphasized that the real power of his AI productivity system lies not just in the tools like Co-work or Claude, but in its ability to rewrite its own core files for continuous improvement and integrate deeply with his ecosystem. He highlighted the importance of 'context files' for each topic, which are manually populated and periodically updated.
“I think the real importance is for a system to, A, be able to rewrite its own, uh, core files, and that means that it keeps on improving, and B, just have connections and integrations to as much of your ecosystem.”
“So, I'll say, um, when I built up the system, it was very important for me to build something scalable. So I did a lot of research on how to build, uh, how to set up your Claude MD and the context files.”
“And then this system basically updates itself on a recurring basis. Every, uh, every few weeks, it runs and updates the knowledge files based on, you know, different things that have occurred, um, and different changes, and we will see some of that, uh, just in a minute.”
