Jo Piazza initially told host Traveling Jackie that she wanted to become a 'soccer mom' after her adventurous travel career. However, she clarified that while she has three children, she actively avoids organized sports for them to maintain her ability to travel on weekends.
“But I remember you saying, I need to do this, I need to get this all in before I become a soccer mom.”
“And that was before you had met Nick, like it was before, you know, before everything. And I remember thinking that like, whoa, really? Like, is that really what you want to do? But you were so like, this is going to be my life. Like, I'm going to do all this travel right now because one of these days, I'm going to be a soccer mom.”
“I will say, I will say, I'm actually not a soccer mom, though. We have three kids.”
“But I do everything I can to keep them out of organized sports so that I can still travel, honestly, on weekends.”
