Fairphone is actively considering the integration of AI features into its upcoming smartphones, aiming to enhance user experience and future-proof their devices. The company is also increasing memory in its devices to support these advancements, aligning with its broader mission of providing sustainable and long-lasting products.
“As well as thinking on, uh, all kinds of AI features that we could include into, uh, our next phone as well. Uh, and, you know, I think it's also good to mention that, uh, with the 6 Plus, uh, we also have upped our memory. Uh, which also means that, uh, to be future proof for all the AI developments that are coming as well.”

So one of the things that we are offering is also privacy, friendly phones. Uh, so first of all, our phone comes without bloatware. Uh, and we also make sure that privacy is respected, uh, and, uh, and maybe when we talk about AI, right, you can also think of things like, uh, that that really support you to hold on to your phone longer, uh, or, uh, to be, uh, more conscious on the energy usage of the phone or what have you.”
