Fairphone CEO Raymond van Eck shared that the company's launch in the US with the Fairphone 6 Plus has been going well, with significant interest from both media and customers. He highlighted the company's mission to build long-lasting, modular smartphones and emphasized the importance of the 'right to repair' movement in creating a favorable environment for their entry into the US market.
“Yeah, well, it's going actually quite well. So, uh, we have a lot of interest both from media as well as from customers. Uh, and we are shipping out the, the first orders. So, that's super nice.”
“And basically we are tapping into this growing right to repair movement, reaching momentum through all the states. Uh, so that created for us, uh, a perfect environment to to do our official entry in the US market.”
